Tank prepares for new album drop

Published January 20th 2016

R&B singer Tank is leaving the drama of supergroup TGT behind him and he’s moving on, with full focus, to the release of his upcoming album, “Sex, Love, & Pain II” (SLP2 in short).

The album is due for release on January 22nd and has been teased with various tracks – approximately half of the album – dropping to YouTube consistently since November 2015.

Collaborations

For the follow up album of his 2007 “Sex, Love & Pain”, Tank has teamed up with R&B heavy weights like Shawn Stockman (from Boyz II Men) and Chris Brown.

The songs uploaded so far have been “You Don’t Know”, “Better For You”, “Already In Love”, “You Don’t Know”, and just last week, “Relationship Goals” and “#Bday”. Most are audio or lyrics videos, with the exception of “You Don’t Know” and “Better For You” for which he’s made official videos.

Tank’s albums have a habit of reaching the top spots of the US R&B album charts. His last album was released in 2014.
