50 Cent brings new music and TV comedy

According to various sources, rapper 50 Cent is currently developing a sitcom about a member of his crew. The comedy, “My Friend 50” shows the day-to-day life of Amanda Kramer, who comes up with the idea to join his entourage. The show will feature the occasional appearance by 50 Cent himself, as a version of himself.

50 Cent, aka Curtis Jackson, has started a career in TV as an executive producer and co-star on the drama “Power“. He then went on to produce “Dream School” and acted in various movies.

Power” led to him getting a two year deal with cable network Starz to develop other shows. This comedy, however, is not part of that deal. Rumor has it, Fox has sown interest.

My Friend 50” will be produced by G-Unit Productions, Will Packer Productions and Universal Television.

50 Cent will also be producing and appearing in the third season of “Power”.

Even though acting and television seems to be his main focus, at this time, 50 Cent has actually also droppped new music recently. As part of the Kanan Tape, he dropped a new track called “Too Rich” on Soundcloud. The mixtape was supposed to be released last week, but the release date got pushed back to December.

The rapper is already working on a follow up mixtape, whcich is not yet scheduled for release, but the title is reported to be called “Reloaded” .

He’s also spoken out about his relationship with former musical partner Game, claiming he will never work with him again.

Little by little, he should be climbing out of his alleged bankruptcy.

Speaking of money, the company “Hang With”  is claiming to make you a friend to the stars, including 50 Cent, as part of their crowdfunding campaign. Hang With is a live broadcasting platform that allows you stream live from your smartphone. They have offered live streaming events for various celebrities, so they do have the connections to offer it to investors. They are looking to raise $2.5 million for their plans.
