2 Unlimited’s Ray to release his autobiography

Published November 2nd 2015

If the name 2 Unlimited doesn’t ring any bells, then just picture yourself at a sports game, like basketball, and think back to the music they play while you’re waiting. This will surely come into mind:

So, now that your memory is refreshed, 2 Unlimited were very successful in the 90s when house music was turning mainstream. Rapper Ray and singer Anita from The Netherlands joined Belgian dance producers and success followed pretty much instantly.

Not many Dutch artists had managed to gain as much international success as 2 Unlimited and in fact, none have followed it up yet either. They went on to sell 18 million records worldwide.

Even though Ray and Anita had met each other, while going clubbing, and the two were friends, rumors of tension between two surfaced and eventually the duo split, leaving the both of them to briefly pursue a solo career.

Anita had to cut her solo career short, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Once the battle was won, the duo reformed in 2012, and actually rejoined one of the original Belgian producers. Since, they’ve been performing pretty much non-stop.

On November 9th Ray will now release his autobiography called “Ray: My Unlimited Life”. In a post on Instagram he revealed the cover.

The books just arrived 🙂 release next week on the 9th #Ray
