I often find myself telling producers that I would like to hear more variations in their music and it’s funny, but the musicians who seem to have that down, can usually be found within the hip hop genre.

Like Iggy Azalea’s “Azillion”. I think it’s a great track, but I know opinions about it vary greatly. It’s just very surprising, to say the least.

When it starts, you think some eurodance 90s track is going to start that could fit in with Pitbull’s repertoire. Then, it quickly shows some of today’s typical hip hop sounds and in her raps, she’s balancing a thin line to playing into a gimmick and it simply being good, which is the same that you could say for mixing Eurodance into hip hop.
