Rod Stewart’s “Do You Think I’m Sexy?!” was originally released in 1978 and has already been recorded by many artists, many times. It has been proven to be a flexible song that would lend itself to various genres. Throughout the years the title even started changing a little bit to sound even sexier and there would be no better group than DNCE to take the song into this generation.

When I first heard about DNCE collaborating with Rod Stewart on “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?!” I immediately got excited. DNCE have a habit of making everything sound funky and I expected them to bring an insane amount of energy to the track, but instead they added soul to it, too.

In the beginning of the song, the feel reminds me of groovy, funky soul tracks you know from artists like Robin Thicke or Justin Timberlake, without the high falsetto though. Along the way it picks up on energy and the end is just one big party.
