Camila Cabello

Camila Cabello blog

It’s a matter of fact, mostly, that girl groups and boy bands don’t last forever. Most artists entering in the group see it as a stepping stone to a bigger solo career. And then it all becomes a matter of who leaves first….

In Fifth Harmony, it was Camila Cabello. I think the biggest sign of someone about to leave a group, for whatever reason, is usually when they stop appearing or disappear on stage with the rest of the group. It wasn’t long after Camila’s “anxiety issues”, which prevented her to take the stage with Fifth Harmony, that she left the group for real.

I feel kind of foolish for falling for the anxiety thing and even blogging about it, because I actually think you need more balls to go after a solo career coming from something as big as Fifth Harmony then you need to be in a group. But, Camila has been taking baby steps since. Big baby steps, but still, she’s only released collaborations so far.

All eyes are on her and her collaborations are not only big hits, worldwide, but have also been well received by the music critics and press. Expectations are currently really high surrounding her persona.
