Just a few weeks ago it was announced that The Corrs were returning after ten years. Yesterday, the first new single was released.
The track is called “Bring On The Night” and shows The Corrs is sounding as strong as ever. The song premiered on English radio earlier this week and shows the group hasn’t lost their romantic sound full of Irish influences, but still as catchy as ever.
The track has been chosen as a lead single taken form the new album “White Light”, due for release on November 27th . Their last album, “Home”, stems from 2005. In the new year the group will start a short tour in the UK and Ireland. The Corrs have already done one important gig for the BBC at Hyde Park earlier this year.
Sharon was also still wrapping up her solo tour this year and revealed, in interviews, to be excited about the return of The Corrs. She seemed to have had no problem going back to the band after doing solo work and was keen to bring back real music in the middle of the autotuned generation of stars today.
Andrea shared her excitement about the comeback and even Bono from U2 has spoken out about their upcoming material being up to par. The Corrs and Bono have worked together on several occasions.
