Just a week after the police had said they had find no reason to involve the Drug Enforcement Agency in the investigation of Prince’s death, it’s now been confirmed that they currently have joined the investigation team.

Prince’s death still raises questions

On the day this was confirmed, news also came out that representatives of Prince sought help with an addiction specialist. Dr. Howard Kornfeld spoke to the press and told he had sent his son out to meet with the singer, who arrived on the morning Prince had died and actually was the person who called 911.

A family attorney released information given by Prince’s siblings, revealing that Prince had an addiction to Percocet earlier in his life. Following up on the information given last week, police later stated that emergency services were called to Prince’s four times since 2013.

An official autopsy report is still pending.

Nothing Compares 2 U

In the meantime, the world is still mourning the singer and there are still tributes pouring in, like US radio stations playing “Nothing Compares 2 U” simultaneously exactly 7 hours and 13 days after Prince had died.

On Monday, a court had appointed an administrator to work on behalf of Prince’s family to help them with taking control of his estate, but under direct orders of the court, as it’s confirmed that no will has been found.

Many people wonder about his music vault, which is rumored to contain a vast amount of unreleased music. His estate also includes the studio facilities, a night club and  his record label NPG.
