Kylie Minogue – Kiss Me Once album

Just two years ago Kylie Minogue surprised the world by swapping the management team she had throughout her whole career for Jay Z’s Roc Nation. An interesting move for both parties as Kylie Minogue in style, sound and image was nowhere near any of the other artists on the management’s roster. But where great things happen when the strangest combination of people team up, the magic didn’t happen for this combo. The “Kiss Me Once” album didn’t meet the expected chart success and various endorsement deals were never realised. Kylie Minogue is now moving on and leaves Roc Nation after the Australian part of her tour ends.

The failure of the “Kiss Me Once” album to find it’s way to some great positions in the charts has also meant a break with her long time (16 years!) record label. She is still signed to Warner Music in Australia.

Though it’s unknown who will be representing her next, it does look like new partners are already in place as new music is expected to be out as soon as next month following the success of “Right here right now”.
