Kendrick Lamar – To Pimp A Butterfly album

Kendrick Lamar released his album “To Pimp A Butterfly” a week ahead of schedule, taking the world by surprise. The album has been incredibly well received, not just by the press, his peers, but also the public. The album is expected to be downloaded 325,000 times in it’s first week of release, but Spotify’s streaming numbers are even more mind-blowing. On the every first full day of the album’s release there were already 9.6 million streaming requests, breaking all records. The last artist who managed to get so many streams in one day was Michael Bublé with his Christmas album, on Christmas Eve last year.
