Music Biz Luncheon

To make their connection with music even stronger, Dropbox have announced to sponsor the Awards Luncheon at the Music Biz 2016, an American music conference organized by the Music Business Association. It will be held from May 16th to May 18th.

Dropbox hopes to find out more about how creatives use their platform and pick up some ideas about how to make the platform serve this group even better.

The Music Connection

Last year, Dropbox started to turn towards more music festivals in order to profile itself among the music scene. This is most likely triggered by Chris Barton, Head of Mobile Operator Business Development at Dropbox, who also happend to be Co-Founder and Board Member at Shazam. The company hopes the combination between people from creative branches and tech will help them innovate further, as many other companies have also discovered.

Altogether, the company’s user base is still growing quickly, as the collaboration market is expected to be one of the fastest growing markets in the next few years.
