Daron Jones from 112 has released 7 free tracks on a mixtape called “The Unofficial Diary Of Daron Jones”.

The mixtape was announced, by Jones, on Instagram yesterday and features his versions of soul and R&B songs originally recorded by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross and Brian McKnight, to name a few.

All throughout the year Jones has been sharing short live covers on his Instagram account and his Diary release is his “special”  and “personal gift”  to fans “who’ve supporting him throughout his career”. With it, he hopes to bring back the authentic feeling of old R&B.

He’s chosen to release a free mixtape, because he wanted to “prove his passion as an artist before asking them to spend their money” on him.

The mixtape is available as a stream on Thisisrnb.com and on the iPhone app Audiomack (search for Daron Jones).

In addition to the album, he’ll be performing the songs at a special live concert held on November 3rd in Atlanta. The Daron Jones Experience Live Concert will allow fans to meet & greet him. The concert will also be free.
