Brownstone singer dies

Brownstone

Brownstone once left a personal message to me

Published March 2nd 2015

Charmayne Maxwell, also known as Maxee, died last Friday night at her home in LA. She was a member of R&B group Brownstone, mostly known from the hit single “If You Love Me”, which was released on Michael Jackson’s own music label MJJ in 1995.  She lost her life under some bizar circumstances. Her husband found her unconscious at their home bleeding from a cut in her neck. Apparently she fell and landed on a broken wine glass. She died on her way to hospital. She was just 46 years old and leaves behind a husband and son. The police do not expect any foul play.

Charmayne is the member photographed on the right on the poster (with the braided hair).
