No, this is not a joke for April Fools Day. The Pet Shop Boys have just opened the doors to their London pop-up store. In collaboration with B&O Play by Bang & Olufson and Worth Retail, they are selling merchandise in their temporary #Superstore.
Fans lined up even before the doors had opened and the rows continued to form throughout the first day of business. In the shop, fans are able to buy all kinds of new and exclusive merchandise, such as phone cases and signed vinyl records, as well as grab their copy of the new album “Super”, also released today.
The album “Super” was highly anticapated and has received positive reviews, so far.
#Superstore is only open for 3 days. On April 1st and 2nd, the store is open from 11am to 7pm and on Sunday April 3rd, it’ll be open from noon to 6pm. It’s located in Boxpark, Shoreditch, London. Of course the duo, tweeted about the opening, as true proud shop owners:
