It’s been said many times: Carly Rae Jepsen was supposed to be a one hit wonder. In fact, she was set to become the ultimate one hit wonder with “Call Me Maybe”, but has managed to avoid that, by making more bubbly pop songs, just as strong as the song that must have been played throughout all of 2012. It’s got more of us, Kurrent Music bloggers, talking about her and her evolution as a pop artist.
She’s come a long way and made some very interesting choices in her way. One of them being, playing Frenchy in Fox’s Grease: Live. Now, it’s not just her music, but also some acting that has made her an interesting pop star to keep your eye on.
