Make Me
Britney Spears has finally released the very highly anticipated new single, “Make Me”.
Within minutes after its release, the song was featured on many blog sites and of course I couldn’t wait to hear it myself.
Inspiration
Many years ago, Britney, was one of my main inspirations for my own music. This was in a time when she started working with N.E.R.D.
In more recent years, I think she’s made some interesting choices in her work – like singing with an English accent and leaning more towards dance/club music in her pop songs. However, none of these things fully worked for me.
R&B Influence
When I heard she was planning a return to R&B/Hip Hop influences, I got real curious to find out more. If not only for the simple fact that I thought she wouldn’t depart from dance sound.
