For some people, music runs in the family. Just think of the Jackson family with all its musical talent going down generations. The Cyrus family is another one. I think if I would really sit down and break down family roots in the music business I’d find a lot of family relations. If with music, success has also ran in the family, then new generations have some big shoes to fill once they branch out on their own.
Jaden and Willow Smith have both followed into dad Will Smith’s footsteps in big way, while I am actually still hoping that Will himself will make a return to his music; Come on Will, “Switch!”, LOL. But there are other, lesser known, new generation musicians trying to find their way and place in the music business.
The name Bobby Barisford might not ring a bell to most, but if you were into r&b music in the 80s, and 90s, you will know his dad: Bobby (Barisford) Brown. Yup, Bobby Barisford is the junior version and one may hope for Bobby senior, that he is half the trouble that he was according to all the wild tales, back in the day.
