In 2016, UK girl group M.O. have been picked up by a major record label and you can already tell the buzz about them is growing. Actually, I don’t think I would’ve heard about them any other way, because for me, it’s been a while since I had heard about their new releases.
I remember checking out “For A Minute” a few years ago (written by Jess Glynne). At that time, the group seemed to be inspired by the 90s r&b / hip hop sound that inspired a few other UK acts at that same time. The trio were channeling a little bit of everything, from the American groups like TLC and SWV to UK’s pride like Eternal and All Saints.
In the meantime, they have adjusted their sound to a little more contemporary dance music and their latest release is “Not In Love” has just been accompanied by an official video.
