It’s been a hell of a week for Kylie Minogue. I had a real dejavu, once I saw a post of hers announcing a new label deal with BMG and a new team to work with. The last time she announced something similar – leading into the “Kiss Me Once” album – she had just broken up with her then boyfriend and she leaped straight into work. And she worked a lot.
I thought this time could be different for her, but a day or so later, news came out that Kylie is again single. Starting out as just rumors, for most of the day, Kylie went ahead and confirmed the split later in the day.
Like a true professional, she’d only spent a moment crying and was back on stage two days later. With her signature smile and radiation of joy on-stage, she did a performance in Switzerland, like nothing happened.
