Everywhere

Everywhere blog

Not so long ago, I blogged about a pop rock band, who were literally all over the place. They were originally from Sweden, now living in the UK, so it would only make sense that they are called “Everywhere”. Everywhere had approached me to listen to their music and I was pleasantly surprised. They managed to find a good combination between rock, pop and what I would, perhaps, call party pop-rock, to which I would assign bands like DNCE.

Everywhere have released a new single out now called “Man Up”, which has got an even more surprising sound. They’ve let themselves get inspired by the latest trends in electronic dance music (which, as I’ve often pointed out, has crossed over to every other genre by now). With catchy, funky basslines and synthesizers as their main instruments, they challenge the grey areas between pop, rock and dance.

And, they’ve also discovered the power of collaboration. As contradicting as this may sound; On “Man Up”, the band have collaborated with a woman.
