While I’m writing this, I’m watching Croatian soccer fans throw fireworks onto the field, while their team is actually in the lead of the game. Yesterday, a British politician got shot and stabbed on the street, while she was on her way to meet the locals. The way my local politicians do too. And it’s all happening a week after the killing of an upcoming The Voice singer and 49 club goers in Orlando. What on earth is happening in the world today?
Christina has a point in her new song “Change”. The world seemed a lot better when you’re little and you’re completely unaware of the world’s harsh side. And it only seems to get harsher the more time passes.
