Oh yes, after the success of #UberKITTENS, it’s now time for the puppies to stop by your office and make your day a little better. In, what’s expected to be, a one time only campaign, you could order puppies last week and have a few minutes of cuddle time. Why? All for the Super Bowl. Confused?
Here’s the original blog I wrote:
Of course, we could’ve seen this coming. With #UberKITTENS being such a success, for many years, it would only be a matter of time before the cute young K nines would follow. And now, that time is there.
This Wednesday, you can order your cuddly moment with a puppy for $30. The puppies are provided by Animal Planet, the SF SPCA, Peninsula Humane Society, and Berkeley Humane Society.
The campaign is to celebrate San Francisco being a Super Bowl Host Committee partner and is one of the many special campaigns Uber has got going on this week.
There’s also a chance for you to meet a quarterback legend, compete in a video game or get your chicken wings delivered for the game itself. Some campaigns are limited to San Francisco’s Uber passengers only.
The puppies, however, are available in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Orange County, New York, Denver, and Washington DC from 11am. So far, it sounds like the Uber puppies are just a one off campaign, but that’s what #UberKITTENS were originally too, so who knows whether this will be repeated in the future.
On the same day, MVP Uber drivers at work that day, are automatically entering a sweepstake to win two tickets the big game.
