Bryan Adams
Bryan Adams recently released his new album “Get Up” and is currently gearing up to start touring with the album in the new year. The first single from the album is the song “Brand New Day”. The video features actress Helena Bonham Carter.
However, over the years, Bryan Adams has also successfully kicked off a second career as a photographer. Growing up in a military family, he published a photo book with wounded soldiers in 2013 and the photos are still touring the world in various exhibitions.
The book was actually his third photo book. His first was released ten years earlier in 2003.
He’s specialized in portraits and fashion photography.
Bryan Adams is not the only rock star who´s turned to photography. Lenny Kravitz recently released his first photo book “Flash”, full of photos he took from people taking his photo while travelling. But also Mick Fleetwood, Michael Stipe (REM), Seal, Kenny Rogers and UK rapper Dizzee Rascal are photographers in their spare time.
Michael Stipe actually passed on his love for art by teaching art at NYU.
