Published February 8th 2016

Getting the halftime show during the Super Bowl is about the biggest gig you could get as an artists. Beyoncé got her own halftime show years ago, and raised the bar for it, but this year she was a special guest for the main act Coldplay.

Beyoncé’s “Formation”

Now that the event is done, no one is really talking about Coldplay anymore. The attention has been totally drawn to Beyoncé. A day before the event, in the midst of all the news about her management shake-up, she surprise dropped a video for a new song called “Formation”.

Then, there was her appearance during Coldplay’s performance to keep the public engaged, but right after, she announced a brand new world tour planned for this year.
