Gwen Stefani new album ready for release
Gwen Stefani has been working on her new album for about two years. The first hint of this album was dropped with a lead single “Baby Don’t Lie” in 2014, but since she’s clearly had to deal with a few other things in life besides being a judge and coach on The Voice.
Events in her personal life caused a delay, but also gave her enough to write about, so it’s expected that her new album will be her most personal yet. Her previous single “Used To Love You” already hinted at that.
Gwen Stefani’s Truth
In the past two days, Gwen announced many things on social media, starting with the details of the album. It’ll be called “This Is What The Truth Feels Like”. The 16 track album will be released on March 18th.
The tracklisting of the album was teased with this Instagram post.
The four hearts at the end, meant there were four more tracks through Target’s Deluxe version of the album, which have been announced to be:
Rocket Ship
Getting Warmer
Obsessed
Splash
Live Video
Recently, Erykah Badu recorded and broadcasted a live video in Las Vegas through an online live stream. Now, Gwen Stefani is about to take this a step further. During the Grammy’s, she will act out, record and broadcast her new video in 4 minutes. There will be no time for slip ups. The video is to promote the track “Make Me Like You”.
The Voice
Even though her solo career will take most of her time now, she’ll stay onboard with The Voice as an advisor to, what a surprise, Blake Shelton’s team. The two have officially become a couple.
